Meanwhile, we have been studying the development of refined rice wines that go well with Korean food since 2013, paying attention to the rapid increase in Japanese sake consumption in Korea. As a result, in September 2019, the company released a rice wine suitable for Korean food and named it "Hancheong," meaning Korean rice wine.
Japanese rice wine is most suitable for Japanese food. It goes well with things like fish cakes or dakgwang (sweet radish). We don't think it's suitable for hot and spicy Korean food.
