Company Overview

Gyeongchun Pilbang Inc. (Brush Story Museum) was established to promote the history and artistry of Korean brush crafts. It is a place to increase understanding of the history, type, and manufacture process of Korean traditional brush, and we exhibit and sell works by brush master Park Gyeong-soo, who was designated Intangible Cultural Property No. 24 of Gangwon-do, as well as artifacts related to the four treasures of study. By providing a place to protect and experience our spiritual world and culture, we develop the traditional culture of Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, while enhancing Korean unique culture and identity.

2005: Selected as the 1st period Korean Master in the Brush Field of the Korean Masters Association
2005: Won an Award for Encouragement of Korean Traditional Crafts Competition
2006: Won the Grand Prize at the Korean Traditional Art Exhibition
2009: Won an Award from the Korea Institute of Design Promotion at Korea Crafts Competition
2013: Designated as Intangible Cultural Property No. 24 of Gangwon-do (Chuncheon brush master)
2017: Won a citation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety and a number of others
