Maeil Food is set to become a business leader in Gangwon-do by reinterpreting recipes to fit the modern appetite while staying true to traditional flavors and methods. Ssal-jjinppang (steamed buns made with rice flour) are produced using local agricultural products, such as Toto-mi (a rice variety unique in Wonju), sweet potato and arguta, and have greatly increased farmer incomes. We built and operate our own patent-protected production system that assures a fermentation process in a hygienic and stable fashion. Operating a family-like work environment and a corporate shared value for a better world, the company is donating its products to frontline military units.
